His concern that bureaucracy at DIA during this and previous administration doesn't want egg on their face .. could be scandal bigger than Watergate.

Congress could have had access to the Pentagon information but insisted on public hearings. It's a challenge not to be cynical. Isn't Specter in charge of these hearings?

Weldon on FOX & Friends says "doesn't fly" the pentagon claiming classified information.
Weldon says DIA doesn't want this coming out....egg on the faces of both administrations.
Welson says, The fact that the 9-11 Commission didn't cover Able Danger will be gross incompetence or a scandal bigger than Watergate.
Weldon says we were told the info would be destroyed routinely, but that' s not so, because General Lambert wasn't told, and he was the customer. Weldon also repeats....all the info wasn't destroyed because General Shelton received a briefing on Able Danger after it was supposedly destroyed.
Did you notice Brian asked a great question, "Who ordered Able Danger dismantled?" But BOO HISS, Weldon did not answer. The name Major Kleinsmith gavee yesterday at the hearing was Tony Gentry. I was hoping Weldon would tell us who Gentry worked for, but he didn't, and Brian didn't repeat the question

Unfortunately, the twin sisters of Katrina/Rita are overshadowing Able Danger news - not that the MSM woulda given it much air time anyway.
Are you serious posting this thread? What makes you think you can get Democratic schill channel disguised as a "fair and balanced" news channel to "report" on anything other than Rita and Katrina so you can "decide"

The whole situation sounds really strange.
Yes .. Weldon is a trooper. God love him, and I very much like Fox and Friends. Hurricane Rita will be devastating to thousands and thousands of people and their lives .. and will have a potentially huge impact on us all. Two Cat. 5 storms in very vulnerable areas, in a 30-day cycle is HUGE news... they'd be derelict if they weren't covering it. I'm SO glad I'm not as terminally cynical as some people; ;).
I have yet heard the words "Able Danger" uttered on any news station other than Fox News Channel. It's like we were living in the Old Soviet Union.
Where's Bob Woodward on this?
A google search of "Bob Woodward" and "Able Danger" brings up web pages in which Woodward says he thinks Cheney will run in 2008.

Good point. It is like the old "double-speak". The importance of a story can be inferred by the lengths the broadcast channels go to avoid mentioning it!
Me, too. He's got a good combination of being quick-witted and down to earth.
If you didn't take advantage of the broadcast why blame the MSM.
Could you understand a word he said? Or did he stumble all over himself as usual? To my ears, he spits out words like a backfiring bus. JMHO.
