I hope you are using a CO detector.
Howlin... people have heated their homes for 100 years with propane heaters. Cook stoves etc. When it enters the furnace or cook stove... it's just a vapor like natural gas. That's the way it's burned (in vapor form). It's no more dangerous than burning natural gas from that perspective.
