can anyone find a pic of these folks in TX that are out of gas? Seems they'll have to start towing the ones in the front to a working gas station? A can of gas won't do squat.
Contraflow will clear out the freeways, and 10 gallons of gas will get any car started back up and on its way (if the fuel pump didn't burn out).
10 gallons of gas will get even my old behemoth Jeep 120-140 miles on a relatively clear freeway (which is what TXCN is showing as starting to happen).
They have been instructed to pull over, or push their cars to the side and the service gas truck will make it's way there. But good question, I wonder how they're going to pull that out?

I live in Norfolk, VA and figure that if I ever have to evacuate I'll use my pickup and tow my boat behind. Not that I want to save the boat so much, but even though it drops my highway mileage from 20 to 12 MPG, the boat holds 120 gallons of gas that I could siphon out as needed in an emergency. And I keep it topped off anyway.
