"I think Trump wants to run for POTUS. Seriously."
Wow - I never thought of that. You could be right. Boy, is that a scary idea!
Continued prayers for those in Rita's path!
That's right. Write the SS# on your inner thigh. Of course if you're fat or very social maybe it would rub off
You need to stop right there. Don't you dare tell me what I meant say. You obviously DON'T get it. No more posts to me, please. I am asking nicely and then I won't.
BTW, Ophelia was a TS not a Cat-5 hurricane.
It's those geographic relativists again. Couldn't just say moving more to the north. ;-)
Rest assured that if I were stuck in that Galveston traffic I'd have to think about having those kayaks under the SUV...
Did you call?
Because they probably heard that Rita was headed for LA, not Houston! I've been watching all morning and as of 12:31 pm, I am not hearing anyone predict a Galveston/Houston hit any longer. Which is a good thing....
I hope they are right but they (NHC) have a bad track record with forcasting this storm's intensity more than 24hours out. Of course, any storm that explodes from TS to Cat 5 in 36 hours is going to throw people for a loop...
check out the latest crap.
I posted that Rush got an email from a listener accussing Blanco of telling her citizens to write their social security # on their arms.
post #1196 responded:
She did say it and just repeated it. Adding with "indelible ink". Like most will know what that word means.
How is it that Houston could get so many evacs out to other states and those clowns in LA still have folks in dangerous areas? Idiots. Rita is no excuse, you figure they would have learned from Katrina... as if.
I actually evacuated before I decided against evacuating.
Well, he is wrong. Every real meteorologist has been saying a weakened ridge results in the storm not being pushed as far west.
The governor is not a meteorologist and obviously did not understand something he was told.
Hey Laz,
You're going out on a limb, aren't you?
You're naming names there...20 miles from the FQ. I've had this feeling that NO might get hit again because last year it seemed like the Panhandle was the magnet and every storm just migrated there.
And storms this year and last (katrina, Ivan, even Charley did move more easterly than thought), so maybe your limb isn't too weak.
'cause a lot of folks are stuck on stupid.
I won't touch that comment...lol.
Listen newbie, I don't take orders from you. You posted incorrect information and I corrected you. Post information that Rita is moving eastward or STFU. You do know what eastward means, don't you?
