You're naming names there...20 miles from the FQ. I've had this feeling that NO might get hit again because last year it seemed like the Panhandle was the magnet and every storm just migrated there.

And storms this year and last (katrina, Ivan, even Charley did move more easterly than thought), so maybe your limb isn't too weak.

But seriously folks... yeah, I think later on in mankind's advancement, we will find out that there are actual physical forces causing hurricanes to be drawn to a given spot.

Actually, if there was any magnet last year, it would have to be the Orlando area. Charley, Frances, Jeanne and Ivan's return all crisscrossed there.
