I understand all that, but Rita is not moving to the East.
To: RDTF
Yeah. What does that have to do with Rita moving to the East?
To: JFC
Keep those hand guns close by. To heck with that... keep the state treasury guarded!

Rita is still moving Northwest. If you have any data to back up this east movement I would like to see it.
I think the poster meant that since Rita is now moving less in the westward direction (as is clear with the sattelite images) then she is moving "more east". Think of it not as an absolute eastward direction but as a relative eastward direction. Hope that helps.

Is Nagin back in Dallas? The storm waters, from the Mississippi River, combined with a possible near pass, or direct hit on NO, is a likely scenario, now...
But, I haven't seen Nagin, lately...

I believe you said, on yesterday, that this would hit NOLA.
Most everyone else thought it was going closer to Houston or close by..
Looks like you're right....it's heading more Louisiana than Texas now.
Those levees are not going to hold.
It could finish off NOLA.

people who decide not to evacuate should write their Social Security number on their arms in permanent marker! That helps her party machine to have new voter cards made for the deceased.

I think today may be his shock therapy day.
To: rwfromkansas
I'm sure glad that you know more than the meteorologist working with the governor who just announced the opposite at the press conference.
To: Republican Red
Rush had an email from a LA listener who said Governor Blanco stated that her citizens should write their social security numbers on their arms.
She did say it and just repeated it. Adding with "indelible ink". Like most will know what that word means.

No time for semantics.
Sorry, just more important stuff happening right now.

Trust me, I know what is going on. I've been tracking it as has everyone else. We need to be correct in our terms or misjudgements can be made.
To: Howlin
or Nagin is getting his "never get too high, never get too low" bottles refilled.
