BTW, a blogger with an intelligence background, reports today that he took a phone call from a source who told him that Rumsfeld did not order LTC Shaffer not to testify at today's hearing. Great. Quadruple hearsay and from an anonymous source to boot.

And quit beating around the "Bush." The only person "higher" than Rumsfeld is the President. President Bush isn't going to be ordering a reserve Lt Col to do anything. That would be a colossal waste of his time.

I think some people at FR are going insane. It's beginning to to be diffucult to tell them apart from the crazies at DU.

It's what I figured. And I love the cute intelligence talk. I believe there are only two people higher than Rumsfeld in the government, Bush and Cheney. That would make the only person "much higher" to be Bush.
