Good morning canteeners cubies newbies and troops! First day of fall in the DC area will be about 88 degrees and sunny as the moonbats on the left prepare for a ground assault on DC this weekend. Thank you, Ms. Feather, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. You know, whenever I see your thread, Queenie, I get all excited! You know why? Cause, I know Friday is right around the corner....bwahahahahaha

Howdy and welcome to all newbies and lurkers. If you are new and I have missed giving you my "official" welcome, please let me know. I'd love to remedy that. AND, if you are a mililtary guy (past or present) who hasn't gotten my "official" welcome, please let me know cause I'd love to take care of that
I hate to cut this short, but I have some other business I need to take care of. This means I'll be in and out of the Canteen most of the day. But, don't fret, cause I have to come back to keep tabs on some known troublemakers
and on our FReeper families in the path of Rita. My prayers are if the hurrycane has to come ashore that it be downgraded to a Cat. 1 (do they have 1/2s?)
In closing, remember these words of wisdom
But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
