Minutemen planning national action at U.S. borders
Knight Ridder ^ | 9/21/05 | Dave Montgomery

In late September 2004, retired CPA Jim Gilchrist was stopped at a red light in California traffic when the idea struck him: a force of citizen volunteers named after the Revolutionary-era Minutemen. Only instead of fighting British redcoats, these modern-day volunteers would be arrayed along the border to fight illegal immigration. Gilchrist teamed with Chris Simcox, a newspaper publisher in Tucson, Ariz., to form the controversial Minuteman project, which drew nearly 900 volunteers to Arizona in April. Now their effort is going national. In October, thousands of Minutemen will form a vigil stretching across much of the northern and southern borders.

Some Minuteman Civil Defense Corps volunteers are arriving early along the Texas-Mexico border in response to the Homeland Security Department's decision to temporarily shift some Border Patrol agents to the Gulf Coast to help in Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. Minuteman organizers said in a prepared statement that the shift "leaves our country vulnerable to increased trafficking by illegal aliens and terrorists attempting to enter the United States."

Also showing up early are civil rights groups planning to stage repeated protests against the Minutemen in Texas over the next several weeks. More than 200 demonstrators marched in Austin last Saturday, chanting, "Racists go home!"

A group of about 50 Minutemen and supporters shouted back: "We are home!"

The expanding watchdog force - denounced as vigilantes by critics and hailed as public-spirited citizens by admirers - is just one manifestation of growing fears about the government's failure to adequately control U.S. borders.

Those concerns are expressed not just by the Minutemen, but also by the chiefs of the FBI and CIA, who have testified before Congress about the possibility that terrorists are crossing the border as easily as undocumented workers.

Democratic governors in New Mexico and Arizona have declared states of emergency because of spiraling drug trafficking and illegal immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border. And U.S. Rep. John Culberson, a Texas Republican, is pushing legislation to create a citizen border patrol whose members would be deputized to make arrests and authorized to carry guns.

"I'm just flat fed up with the wide open borders and the full-scale invasion, as are my constituents," Culberson said in a telephone interview. "We need more manpower on the border."

Swampy's still on downtime, isn't he? Too bad he's not around to explain to us how only wacko extremist racist yahoos think that the border situation leaves us vulnerable to terrorism.

O.K. Troopers - get this one down straight . .

Katrian hit LA, MS, and AL 3 weeks ago.

Now, the government is "shifting" an undisclosed number of our border patrol agents (as if they were needed where they were) away from the Mexican border and into the states affected by Katrina.

(I know - it is nuts.)

Anywho, guess who is going to be filling in that gap?

Yep. Minutemen.

What else? The ACLU, LaRaza, and every other pro-open border sack of $hi+ organization bent on making one nation out of Canada, Mexico, and the United States will be shadowing the MMP folks while they are guarding our (non-existent) border.

Spread the word please . .

More than 200 demonstrators marched in Austin last Saturday, chanting, "Racists go home!"

Do we think that at least some were brought in from other states? Do we think the media will report that?

These are not 'civil rights groups', they are illegal alien accessories before and after the fact.

I wonder what these demonstrators think about the 47% of Hispanic voters who voted in favor of the anti-illegal alien measure Prop 200 in Arizona last year.

Give it another few years and the word "racist" will be placed in the same category as "n****r." A fightin word that at times is used among patriots as a certain term of backhanded respect.

Thank you for defending our country, Minutemen! I won't be there myself so I'll make a donation to support those who are.

Amazing how overwhelmingly ignorant and biased people are over the impact, now and in the future, that our unsecured borders and the threat of terrorism plus the economic drain on the tax base illegal immigrants are causing this nation.

The Minute Men get it and so do most US citizens.

It is a catastrophic travesty of honor and respect to those who have founded, fought and died to protect our liberty and freedom, and also, a catastrophic travesty to those who have jumped through all the hoops to get to this country legally and become US citizens.

Money hungry, spineless, completely apathetic businessmen and politicoho's have sold this nation out to the ilks of the Council on Foreign Relations, the UN, Marxists, NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. Seriously, some of our government and business leaders would actually screw their own mothers for a dollar in pursuit of outward materialistic gain and delusional self-perceptions of themselves and what they think the public wants in terms of 'a leader'.

All the federal elected officials, including Bush and his administration, are in complete dereliction of their oaths of office as to protect this nation from all enemies, both foreign and domestic with regards to the invasion of illegal immigrants. It's not the people themselves that are coming in unrestricted, it's the fact that the system is broken and our nation's leaders are not doing the simplest things to correct the problem. If I am wrong in my conclusions, then please tell me of all the major wars ever fought on this planet, has it not been for the gain or protection of a country's economic resources? So why then are our political and economic leaders sacrificing our economic security as a nation other than for nothing but apparent personal greed?

Once again, I say that desired political careers, perceived public image, inaccurate polls, influence of fringe groups and foreign governments, and the greed for personal wealth have caused those who have the ability to change the situation to become completely deaf (from their own choosings) to the majority of US citizens and our concerns.

So, please forgive my anger and disgust, but the truth is the truth. Our freedom is fading fast.

"So why then are our political and economic leaders sacrificing our economic security as a nation other than for nothing but apparent personal greed?"

Read the UN's PLAN 21.

Read NAFTA.

Read CAFTA.

Check out WHO is a member of the CFR.

Personal greed has nothing to do with it. You don't get to be President of the US unless your a sock puppet and "groomed" for the position.

Well T2D, I know that "The New World Order" is the goal from the UN, NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. Along with the formation of the EU, and the Bush's push for NAFTA and CAFTA, the Bildebergs, etc., that a global controlling government is the goal.

Excerpt - Source: "THE U.N. PLAN FOR GLOBAL CONTROL"

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. The guiding principle of the new universal education system is "sustainable development." People everywhere must be taught "facts" about environmental "risks" that are sensational enough to scare them into compliance. They must be persuaded to accept unthinkable limits on consumption, land use, transportation, and family size. Everyone must protect resources for future generations, say UN leaders, but they agree that the real meaning of sustainability is based on the E's: Environment, Economy, and Equity, which point to a redistribution of the world's resources-money, energy, water, and people-in order to create global equality.

History has shown the emptiness of these promises. Long ago the Communist Manifesto announced a proletarian revolution which would empower the poor by redistributing wealth. Everyone would be equal. Men and women alike would join the socialist workforce, and children would be trained by the state.

It happened! All but the leaders became equally poor, and all the children were indoctrinated with an anti-Christian socialist philosophy. Morally and economically, the masses sank to the level of the lowest common denominator.

The similarities between the Communist Manifesto and the UN agenda (outlined in the Beijing Declaration and incorporated into the Habitat Agenda) should be a call to action. Both revolutions--

* Use psychology and sociology to establish the victimhood, blame and anger needed to fuel the revolution.

* Use education to conform minds to the new ideology.

* Use synthesis (blending opposing views into compromise beliefs that match new goals) to produce group consensus.

* Promise economic equality to seduce the masses.

* Spread hatred toward "extremists" who refuse to compromise.

The Communist Manifesto led to religious, moral and economic bankruptcy. Yet UN-led activists and their US partners are determined to fulfill their Utopian visions.

IMPLEMENTING THE PLAN. The US Network for Habitat II is one of a myriad of national and international UN organizations committed to carry out the UN plan in local communities. "The Network is a forum for making sure people are heard," explained one of its leaders. "Its role is to tie together the messages from all six UN conferences into practical action."7

As you said, the members and those that constantly remain in Washington at some level of BS job to keep 'the clique' going: "Roster of CFR/Trilateral Commission Members"

CFR Members (6) of the eleven (11) 9/11 Panelists: WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

To compute the odds that 6 of 11 Commission members would be CFR members. If you use a population of 100,000,000 adults the probability is about one in 538 sextillion. Even from a population of 1,000,000 of the best educated, the odds are just one in 538 billion. One's odds of winning the lottery are at least 1000 times better.

T2D, I can see what's coming in these days now with terrorism and ID theft and corruption leading the way. The master(s) of deception is at work. FYI: There's a really old book out there that a lot of people read and believe in. It contains The Truth.
