Good. Let them filibuster and then we get rid of filibusters on judicial appointments once and for all.

Oh, they will filibuster, all right.

The idiot Republicans made sure of that when they allowed the Nazis to seize the Senate.

This sentence needs to be in every piece of Republican campaign literature for the next 4 or 6 years.

That must be the part of the Dems' "living Constitution" where "advise and consent" is replaced by "hijack and obstruct".

I'm not sure, but I'm hoping the Prez nominates a rock ribbed conservative, regardless of the backlash of McCain & co. If they vote him down, nominate another rock ribber.

Can the White House use the bully pulpit to hammer the Democrats on their absurd level of obstruction - talking filibuster before he even appoints anyone?

And it will take Bush to ram a conservative down the Senate's throat, since the GOP senators are mostly a bunch of pantywaists.

What stupid liberals and whimp conservatives fail to realize is that President Bush has wanted John Roberts to be Chief Justice since he took office.

Liberals can threaten to filibuster.

If Bush is smart, he will nominate Owen or Brown.

The "Gang of 14" did not find their selection "extraordinary".

Either one of these picks will paralize liberals who want to filibuster.

Expect nuke option.

MLame, DeWine and Graham need it to survive in the GOP.
