Has a full load of fuel, trying to get the fuel unloaded over the ocean before attempting the landing. May take quite some time to dump that much fuel.
I guess this problem was noticed when they attempted to retract the gear on take off, the gear didn't respond, did a flyby to see what was wrong, did a "oh #@$@#" and then are now getting ready for emergency landing.

Those emergency landings are downright scary.
Been there, done that.
Praying for those on that flight for a calm, and safe landing.

Has a full load of fuel, trying to get the fuel unloaded over the ocean before attempting the landing. May take quite some time to dump that much fuel. Took something like 40 minutes to an hour to dump enough fuel from a flight from Seattle to Amsterdam to get down to landing weight. Engine blew right after takeoff.
