I can't see what's going on behind the ladder, but is it a reasonable assumption that they've placed a hydraulic jack under the nose, or some cinder blocks, or something in case the gear finally decides to snap off after all?
Good observation. That would seem to be a wise thing to do. Now, I'm wondering just HOW this happened.
They will jack it and get it off the runway. That runway is usually used this time of day for all the 747's going off to Asia and Europe.
I hope to be flying out of there in a few weeks or so on EVA airlines.
