A Jet Blue aircraft just did a low altitude flyby of Long Beach airport after reporting some concern with their forward gear. The television helicopter caught an image of it - the gear is turned sideways and tilted.
Aircraft is heading out towards the ocean to drop fuel, will turn around, and attempt a 'soft field' landing, keeping the nose up as long as possible.
Thanks, checked that one. Nothing.
He's south of PV now.
Did O'Reilly ever complete his investigation of the Dan Rather-Burkett phony memo scandal?

Ping.
Plane to land in a few minutes.
Why would they do that??
Hot trumps dumb every time!!
Trying to think what I'd be thinking were I a passenger on that plane. I'm a million+-mile flyer.
I've crash-landed in a small plane, emergency landed in a couple big planes... taken more than an air pocket that threw the drink cart onto the ceiling... and all I can say is that the worst most likely happens without warning.
I've not been flying as much recently as before, and I notice that I'm a more nervous flyer the less I fly. Never have I not been THRILLED at the takeoff and landing... I always take the window seat.
No one on that plane is not scared. Prayers.
thanks, think I'll stay with local. FNC blew their chance (like they care)
Don't you wonder where that LB chief is getting his news? Either he's the only one in the loop or else he's the only one out of the loop b/c it seems like for at least 30 minutes EVERYONE else has been saying LAX (even when then interviewing him in the middle of it...LOL...they had him on our local news also...everyone saying LA, him saying LGB, then back to but it's landing at LAX).
O'Reilly isn't on, just the coverage of this emergency.
I must have missed something... when was he on fire?
I'm staying with MSNBC -- FNC can cover it or not --- I want continued coverage.
Still waiting for that recipe, al baby!
Pilot expects 10 more minutes per pilot
Don't know.
That MSNBC cameraman must have a sore neck by now.
I think youre reading to much into this
Yea I guess so, I am not airbus certified so dont know what they have or who makes their gears.
