"Oh, well- scratch yet another one off the list"

If I boycotted every entertainer who said or did something stupid regarding politics my life would be almsot completely devoid of of movies and television. Which probably wouldn't be a huge loss now that I think of it.

You're right it wouldn't be a huge loss. I can testify to that. It's really not even that hard. I haven't been to a movie since the latest Star Wars flick (a family outing), and it had been a long time before that... Passion of the Christ.

I simply don't care for the expense, inconvenience, and so forth of going to a theater to see trash that gives me a headache anyway. I certainly have no intention of letting my hard earned money put bread in the mouths of people who hate everything I believe in.

As for television, well there are a few shows I enjoy, but none so much that I would continue to watch if the actors felt like they needed to tell me what to think in an area they have no credentials.

I watch very little TV anymore, and haven't been to a movie since the eighties-- they just don't produce stuff I care to see anymore.

If they aren't preaching to you about some mostly-imagined grievance, they are expounding about some fantasy world that manages to be both dreary, and hard to believe. Not to mention usually dark, wet, dirty, and depressing.

The one thing TV does pretty well is provide pictures of breaking events, but even there they blow it by being repetitive and hysterical. I usually turn the sound off.
