Are you sure it was Condoleeza Rice? Isn't it possible that it was Susan Rice, Department of State Asst. Secretary for African Affairs, and a known screw-up on Sudan policy?

Do the democrats actually think that if they don't show up to a hearing - the hearing is not valid ..??
Arrogance in full public view!

US bureaucrats testifying now. FBI guy was pathetic. DOD guy on now, also pathetic.
To: CyberAnt
The Dems will have their own hearing at DNC Headquarters. It will blame Bush and the Jews.
To: TomGuy
Pentagon has prohibited several of its 'employees' from testifying. The Pentagon has no control over this hearing. It could make for an interesting showdown between the Senate committee and Pentagon brass.I know the Sec. Def. has a lot of fans here, but the Congress should drag him in on a subpoena and question him until he lets the truth come out.

It's all a plot by evil "neo-cons" to rule the world.... the Pentagon doesn't want us to learn that. Actually, it's Mike Brown's fault and FEMA should have been ready to take over Able Danger in 2001......

While questioning Dugan did Spector mention Rumsfeld going before the Senate at 4:00 today?

Yes, Spector said that Sec. Rumsfeld had a meeting with another Senate committee this afternoon and he was going to see if perhaps Sec. Rumsfeld would not answer a few questions about this for him. It is really beginning to smell up there, and that ain't no skunk we be smellin'!!

"Does this mean some of the generals are Klintonistas?"
Wesley Clarke is going to get thrown in fron of the train for this.
It would also confirm that Richard Clarke was a liar.
Jamie Gorelick was a liar.
Janet Reno had no clue.
The 9/11 Commission was ignorant(Meaning the RATS are going to burn Kean at the stake) He will be the fall guy on this. Just watch.

Tony Gentry order (reminded ) that the material had to be destroyed after 90 days. AFter consulting with lawyers,
Eric Kleinsmith deleted data May-June 2000.

I just reread your msg and it would seem to me that the only "material to be destroyed" would have been the data mining - but that wouldn't necessarily include the charts or other lists they had been able to acquire from the data itself.

The Congress can issue USE immunity or Global Immunity to anyone they wish. Why is this not offered. Specter is putting a fig leaf of investigation, while obstructing the information from getting out to the public. If they issue global immunity, the Military cannot do a damn thing about it.

I keep hearing the data was destroyed or deleted .Why can`t it not still be retrieved off the hard drives of the computers? Nothing done on a computer is ever really gone.

Tell me Wesley Clark has nothing to do with this. It's murky enough as it is.
