Pentagon tryed to cancel it, because some generals are probably gonna get burned by this. They revoked two witnesses security clearances, including Col Shaffer's.

Does this mean some of the generals are Klintonistas?
To: dts32041
Zaid asked the most important where are the rest of the individuals on those charts.

Pentagon has prohibited several of its 'employees' from testifying. The Pentagon has no control over this hearing. It could make for an interesting showdown between the Senate committee and Pentagon brass.

Like I said yesterday, no one in the Federal government is willing to take any part of the blame for 9/11. Your Washington public servants at work! Their careers are more important than your safety.
To: BladeLWS
Now on is Eric Clinesmith, he has earned many awards, ex-US Army major.

It seems that the buttcovering continued from the Clinton admin well into the Bush 2 admin.

People who want to testify are not being allowed to do so. I really don't know what this hearing is going to accomplish, but it may simply be an exercise designed to set the stage for issuing subpoenas.
To: Lancey Howard
The military can't stop them from testifying. They could order them not to, but can't do a dang thing if they get to the Congress. They could courtmartial or something perhaps though.

Klinesmith is the one that deleted the files it seems, now we just need to see who ordered him to do so...

That, right there, should inspire a much more thorough followup hearing.
