The Bus Tour left about 9:30 from the KSFO Studios in San Francisco where Melanie Morgan (Co-Founder and Chairman of Move America Forward) does a Radio Show every morning from 5am to 9am.
This is Deborah Johns...the main speaker on the tour.
As most of you know she was on the first tour, the "You Do Not Speak For Me, Cindy!" Tour from San Francisco to Crawford, Texas at the end of last month.
It was very sucessful, ending up with from 3 to 4 thousand troop supporters meeting in Crawford Texas at a Rally organized by Free Republic.
Jim Robinson, the founder of FreeRepublic.com traveled from Fresno to Crawford for the first tour and will be going to Washington DC for the Rally on Sept 25th.
She gives very impassioned talks when ever the Bus stops.
BTTT
Here is Deborah when she first arrived in Vacaville.
Rally bump! Looks like y'all are off to a great start, Syncro!
Deborah with Joe Williams in the background.
Joe William's son was killed in Iraq last year. He is dedicated to being opposition to the Cindy Sheehans of the world and is on the tour as a Gold Star Father to garner support of the Troops and their Mission.
There were about 50 to 75 people that showed up in Vacaville to support the Troops and the Mission they are on.
Mary (MAF Photographer) took Mary's (Mary from Vacaville) picture then Mary showed Mary the pictures. Mary and Mary were very happy with the outcome.
Those 3 pictures are from Sacramento, but we sang the Anthem and recited the Pledge in Vacaville also. Yes, we included UNDER GOD!
I was tempted to go to Reno when this hitchhiker...
...wanted a ride to Reno so we could get married by an Elvis Impersonator at one of those Drive-By-Chapels.
I gotta catch a red-eye to DC on Thursday so I declined...might have gotten distracted.
Wow, a "Drive-By" Chapel sounds like it would be in a pretty rough neighborhood. Probably better that you played it safe!
Heh heh heh...
Taxman Bravo Zulu! for MAF Bus Tour, your after action report and pics, Syncro!
See you in DC.
bttt
Mark Williams of Right Wing Waco (Wacko?) Radio (host of Mark Talk Live on KFBK 1530 AM - Sacramento) was in Sacramento to liven things up. He went to Iraq with Melanie Morgan and other Talk Radio Personalities on the Truth Tour some weeks ago.
Banners are being signed for the Troops at all of the stops.
When the Talk Radio Hosts went to Iraq a few weeks ago on the Truth Tour (To be an alternative to the negative press from the MSM) they took 3 banners with them, signed by Americans who support them. Mark Williams reported that it greatly lifted their spirits, and they have them displayed prominently in Iraq.
This time they will have over a dozen of them sent when the Tour is over with hundreds (maybe thousands!) of signatures.
I'll try to see if I can get this on the MAF website.
FYI: It's Kaweah Angel (not Korea Angel) LOL! Don't worry, "Wrong Way Don" and I kept getting her name wrong at first too!
Hey Sarce ole Buddy....I was at the Sacramento rally and brought 3 friends with me.....I wasn't included in any of these pictures, but I brought my "You Don't Speak for me, Cindy" tour shirts with me, and put them on all of my friends. One of the shirts was on the back of one of the bodies signing the banner!
Old Sheehanigan is even getting more wierd than she was when we were in Crawford, huh? Kinda like Stink on Flies, huh? Ruby Tuesday....HeHeHe!!!
"Lost her job on Monday"
I was really chomping at the bit that I couldn't be with that bus going to DC.!!
Oh well.....NEXT TIME!!!
I know exactly what you mean, I REALLY wish I could make the DC rally, but it's just not possible. Glad you at least made this rally!
Jennifer (Reporter for Channel 13 News Sacramento) and Deborah Johns and Mark Williams
This lady was glad to see Deborah again, they have become friends. She is a good honest reporter.
They made those shirts. What a grate family!
Here is a Good One
