Is this going to fall on Rumsfeld as the one who stopped the others from testifying?

Not a good sign if the Bush administration is doing this.

From the limited time-line given today...coupled with what we have already known...

I cannot imagine WHY Rummy would do anything to stop this...because all of the instances of note...happened BEFORE Bush was POTUS and he was in the DOD!!!

I still wonder if both Clintons might not have a hand in stopping this testimony..

That depends on exactly what is going on. None of us know that. Even Weldon does not know. I would like to see Weldon pause long enough in holding pressers to ask for an appointment to see the President. Take it to the top, Congressman. I am sick of having it automatically assumed that President Bush or Don Rumsfeld are evil. Sick, sick, sick of it.

Yeah, but Rumsfeld knows he will get away with it because the left and press doesn't want the story pursued any further.
