Yea, move away and don't give this psycho your new address.
I would encourage him to share his insights with as many people as possible; its his duty to inform as many people as possible of these facts. If we learn anything from the Cindy Sheehan episode, it is let the hard left speak their minds, they alienate more people then they persuade.
For me the great mystery is why is the left is so chronically inept in presenting their case.
With a little effort you could put together a very well reasoned well thought out case against the war in Iraq, against the death penalty, for legalized abortion, for atheism and against creation, etc.
Your case would be flawed, false and you would probably lose a debate with a really well informed intelligent conservative; but you might win over a few people and create some doubts on the parts of others.
The left makes no effort to produce a reasonable argument that might persuade the people in the middle. They simply resort to emotional sloganeering, urban myth and invective, which appeals to those who share their beliefs but if anything drives away potential converts.
Do you think Galloway the other night won over a single person to his cause?
I wish the networks would put him on in prime time.
I hate the blatant bias of the MSM, but what would really scare me is if they were subtle and stealthy, seeming to be fair and unbiased, but behind the scenes attempting to manipulate people with word here, a story there.
When your enemy is digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole, just hand them a bigger shovel.
Hey, we didn't vote for the democrats!
"... they came for the chrisitians"
I've only noticed attacks on Christianity from the left in this country.
I think someone may be missing their medication?
Not worth your time. He's a moonbat existing in an alternate reality. We can't have any meaningful discussion with the left until they are willing to argue in good faith.
I just came in from Jay Rosen's blog, where the left is still trying to argue the TANG memo's, where media bias is all "subjective" [shakes head]
I hope Santos beats us on "West Wing" - I don't want to get hit from "falling" liberals on my way to work. Watch out [SPLAT!] there's one now.
I had a "friend" who was liberal who often sent me articles from the fringe without preample, context, or prior request. I simply decided he wasn't my friend any longer, told him not to spam me anymore, and asked my ISP to block incoming messages from their address.
I long ago decided I wouldn't trouble or pester my friends with with political articles and links. They know which forums to find me in (and I them) when the subject of politics and the like rolls around.
If this is what the Left is thinking, we have nothing to fear. They are marginalizing themselves.
The average liberal type benefits more from their relationship to the average conservative type, than the average conservative type benefits from their relationship to the average liberal type.
Don't ever come to the rescue or aid of these undependable folks. It's an unbalanced relationship favoring them, and on top of that they will take delight in questioning your smarts, character, savvy, etc.
Liberals like to remind us how smart they are. What help could neanderthals like us give?
Until conservative begin attaching real consequences to liberal antics (and they haven't, it's a failure of our side), they will only encourage antics to get worse and worse. That's where it's gotten us.
"You can be proud to live in a Fascist Country where Lies are truth and truth are lies."
You should ask him if he listens to Al Frankin and is he a member of Al's fan club. Sounds to me like he might be a founding member. lololol Maybe you could get him Al's book for Christmas.
Any suggestions?
Yeah, tell your friend to stop getting his news from dumbocrat websites.
(1) I would have to have a really low opinion of myself and of the value of my friendship, to waste friendship on a liberal - especially one that far down the food chain.
(2) To get rid of liberals, try sending them gruesome pictures of dismembered Iraqis with lots of approving comments. That seems to do the trick. (Whatever works, AFAIAC...)
This quote comes to mind...Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
I think the quote is from Ann Coulter (and I don't know how to post a pic so if mentioning Ann requires a pic, someone else will have to do it). :)
You had me LOLing at "I do not know the source of this Rovian Doublespeak"
You need to reply to this guy in the same language he is speaking. What is that language called in "Alice Thru the Looking Glass"? Is it jibberish?
