Thank you. It was my duty, and a privledge and a pleasure, to serve. I was lucky the option was open to me, and I have profited greatly by it. Not in cash, or other material riches, particularly, but in self-knowledge, and a reasonable amount of hard-earned maturity. (which I probably would not have attained without considerable help outside the USAF)I'm not certain I could recommend a military career, but I would not hesitate to recommend the military to anyone who wishes to test themselves. In fact, I've done so to a number of high school students.
Our President and my brothers and sisters at arms are constantly in my prayers, too. Thank you for YOUR service, as well. Someone has to keep the home fires burning. We serve so you don't have to.
