Hey, EGS--are they still saying that Rita will miss the Houston area? My brother is in Seabrook--nearly right on Galveston Bay. I've already told them they could come up here if it gets bad. Where would you head out to--Austin?

Seabrook will order a mandatory evacuation at 6 pm tomorrow but already have a voluntary evac in place.
Most recent predictions say between Corpus Christi and Galveston. Galveston is buttoning up. Most people are leaving. Schools already closed, etc.
