I think that Poppa Bush was "set up" tonight by the ABC announcers asking him about his relationship with Clinton...
Remember, it was ABC that had he and Stephanoplis yesterday, when Clinton "went off" on his son.
I think they were told to push that line of questioning, hoping for a sound-bite to feed to the dems...but, Poppa Bush is too much of a politician and a gentleman...
However, if I were him...I would be calling my son right after the TV interview and telling the POTUS...it was just for the TV!!! LOL

My mother always said:
"Don't stoop to their level."
It always sounded like the right thing to do, but boy is it hard.

This is the same man who gave Teddy Kennedy an award for his "distinguished" public service. You figure it out.

It seems 41 is learning from his son. Feed the dog knowing he will bite you and then with everyone looking, say kind words about it and pet it.

A friend of mine was always fond of saying:

or the clintons have something big on the Bushes (FBI FILES)....

This proves that Bush 41 "made" Clinton President, and Clinton is an honorable man who returned the favor via Elian Gonzales.

It will be a sad day when #41 goes to the Lord. He is such a role model of class. Someone your children can look to as an example of American dignity.

What a classy man. Clinton could learn a thing or two from him.
But the mainstream media is picking up on Clinton's waffling. On AOL's homepage they have an article called, "The Two Faces of Clinton". I have also checked out some of the liberal blogs and they aren't all that enamored with Clinton either.

Or he's following the old adage : keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Yeah. But why is it that I'm disappointed he didn't give him a thrashing?

My GOP has less of the 'Pious Wimp', and far more of the 'Crusader Warrior'.
I'd give up W.F.Buckley, George Will and G.H.W. Bush for Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and Ronald Reagan any day - much more my kind of Republicans.
It was only the courageous and confrontational Freepers armed with the 'Sore Loserman' campaign that saved the 2000 elections.
The modern RINO GOP simply has no balls.
But shouldn't we turn the other cheek? - yeah, sure - of my ass!
