I found this not so cut up video of the poor old woman disarmed and evicted by force from her home on Sept. 7th, 2005, by the California Highway Patrol. Theres a mandatory evacuation (words from the CAHP on the video). Obviously, they used force to enforce it, and not just in this instance.

Now lets move forward by one day. (Sept. 8th, 2005, ABC World News, Reporter Bob Woodruff). Police and National Guard find themselves in a very difficult position tonight to try to carry out an order to force people from the city without actually using force. -snip- (Force them without force. What an order. Who the hell gave it?).
(Woodruff) Police and National Guard going street by street, house to house.
Cut to video. Police Department at your home Police Department (00.39 seconds of the video, this guy is in a black T shirt and green camo pants, and as near as I can tell on the back of that shirt it says SWAT). Dogs are barking and are apparently inside the house. The door is closed. There are burglar bars but they are not closed.
Cut. Same house, but a different guy opens the door (looks like he has to force it a bit) This guy has on an olive green T shirt and camo pants. His arms are as big as my legs! But, his gut is much bigger then mine as well. ATF? Special Forces? (with that gut, SF? no way!). Looks like the short version of the M16 hes carrying.
Cut to National Guard. We need to make sure too whenever we knock on doors, people refuse to leave, make note and call it in. (These guys are dressed like youd expect a soldier to be dressed, full camo, not T shirts).
(Bob Woodruff) They say there are no orders to use force, just strong persuasion, sometimes entering open houses with guns drawn, and instructions to disarm anyone inside. (A house with the door shut is not open is it?).
Sept. 8th, 2005. Chief of New Orleans Police. No one will be able to be armed. We going to take all the guns.

Remember that high dollar attorney (Ashton ODwyer) who said If they come into my house, try to make me leave, or try to take my guns, there will be gunfire. ?
Apparently, he was later arrested according to CNN. This was the link, but I just checked it and its not working now. Sorry.

What we have here from what I can tell, is an order to disarm which was enforced, and a mandatory evacuation order which was not.
I personally think that whoever is responsible for this is in very deep $hit. And they should be.
Oh, and this just in. The Mayor is suspending his order to reopen the city, after he ordered it evacuated (or was that him or who the hell was it?).
Evacuate, but not by force. Come back. Oh, never mind. At least we got your guns and whatever out of the deal.

Will do.
San Francisco CHP ??!! That's what it took to strong arm an old lady with a pistol! She was NOT holding it in a firing or threatning manner - she had her hand gripped OVER the top of the revolver when the oversized goon jumped her!
A good candidate for a large lawsuit!
50 yrs. for this a hole.
If you are not satisfied, please let us know. Maybe I can help.
That video is why they stopped. You know that is true.
Higher authorities pulled the locals back this time. But it did show a general inclination by the LEOs to go right to confiscation in SHTF scenarios. Police and govt employee safety comes first, second and third, and peasants take the hindmost.
It's a given. Anyone who does not understand is kidding themselves.
No government stands for you above themselves. The founders knew that.
