Please ping and bump and ESPECIALLY, please email outside of FR to others who need this information. We need to reclaim our schools and stand together as conservatives of all faiths, One Nation, Under God.
Thanks.

As long as this is student/parent-organized, I think it's legally impregnable--and also much more effective than any "offical" ceremony at demonstrating true patriotism and/or devotion to God.
Why on this particular day? And is this supposed to be non-students and parents who don't have students at the public school who are going to show up?
Prayers at the flagpole have been going on in most schools for years.
What hasn't been going on is non-students and adults who don't have students at a school showing up on campus. That's pretty much a no-no at all the public schools I know about.
From this story, it sounds like a bunch of home-school kids and their parents are going to show up at a public school and insist on praying at the flagpole. Bad idea.
There's a good reason to keep people who aren't students or parents of students off our public school campuses. It's the law in most places.
I volunteer at schools to do sessions on my area of expertise. I have to get a background check, a TB test, and have a specific class and time before I'm allowed on campus.
What the heck? The students at the schools are already praying around the flagpole. I assume the home-school kids are praying wherever they want. This just doesn't make sense to me.
We do this every Friday at our school.

I'm probably going to forget about it until its too late unless i see some people around the flagpole that morning, but does anyone know what time this is usually at?
This year will be my ninth consecutive See You At The Pole. Wouldn't miss it!
BUMP
Bump. Today's the day!
Thanks for getting the word out! I attend a school in Texas and we're the longest running private organization to participate in See-You-at-the-Pole. We had tremendous success and the media covered schools all in our area!
