Michael was going to shack up with a girl named Cindy. She had a dog or two. In order to move in with her, HINO had to destroy the cats.

When Michael's malpractice attorneys found out he was going to cohabitate with another women while being married to Terri and pledging under oath that he was going to care for Terri for the rest of THEIR LIVES, the malpractice attorney told him he should not move in with Cindy Shook. So, he killed the cats for nothing, except for maybe the thrill of it all.

He'd been working on his faux image as a caring husband for quite some time. ADULTERY would not have sold in a malpractice case with a jury.

It didn't matter with JUDGE GREER because in probate Court, there is no jury. Judge Greed was guardian, judge and jury and his friends up the line backed him up. That's what happened. Greed's skill as a judge and having a fair court room was not affirmed. ONLY HIS SCHEME TO MURDER TERRI WAS AFFIRMED.

Honestly, I don't know of a vet that would euthanize healthy animals on a person's whim. Is there documentation, like a bill or the veterinarian's testimony? Vets have more compassion than Planned Parenthood.
