Good point. And they could also have a booming industry in providing via U.S. contracts the many German technological goods and other mechanical and electronic manufactured war materiel for which they are renowned and which we need.
Well, they're making their own socialist bed. I'm part German descent, and the Germans are all stubborn hardheads except me.
The winner of the election will just be a higher or lower grade socialist than the other.
