I didn't dismiss the epic human tragedy caused by hurricane Katrina. And anyone with half a brain understands the differences between the 9-11 attacks and hurricane Katrina.

>>>>But, this last post pretty much has convinced me that you aren't a fiscally conservative...you are an uncaring penny-pincher.

And you're a big government Republican, AKA. liberal Republican, who sees nothing wrong with the POTUS promising to do whatever it takes and to spend whatever it takes. Fiscal irresponsibility gone wild.

I am AMAZED!!!!

You just told me to listen to what you post...that I might LEARN SOMETHING???

Please, just give me ONE example of something that you have posted on this thread...where you have said anything other than complaining?

Also, you keep throwing out this $200 billion number...where in Bush's speech did he give that amount?

It is the media and the dems that are throwing out that amount, NOT Pres. Bush!!!

and for what it is worth, Timmy Russert said on his show this morning that it would be $300 billion...LOL

HE just pulled that number out of his butt!!! Just like you have been doing all day...

THERE has not been any $$$$ totals given by anyone that know anything. They haven't even had a chance to get into all of the areas to figure out the damage yet..

IN FACT, I just saw on Fox that the Health and human services department...that inspected the hospitals in NO say that they doubt they will EVER be usable again.. NOW, yo tell me how much damage that is...smart guy!

I can be just as cynical as the next person for political motives.

My beef with President Bush is that he is somehow trying to give Bill Clinton so many chances to redeem himself at our expense. Clinton has no character and for some reason W just doesn't seem to see that Clinton is not redeemable.

I am trying to figure out how many more times W is going to sick Clinton on us. I don't care how Christian a man is, at some point enough is enough. W, judge Clinton for his actions.

I thought the same thing about Coburn -- until he cried. That
did it for me.

I don't want any more feelings.

>>>>Apparently you think calling people a "Bush cheerleader" is some sort of insult.

Its not an insult, but it speaks to the truth of what you are. You follow Bush blindly. In your case, being a Bush cheerleader means giving the President a blank check and do whatever he believes is best. I've never seen you post anything coming close to criticizing the Bush policy agenda on any issue. Never.

NO president, with the exception of FDR, has had the problems thrown at him that President Bush has.

Baloney! In your mind GWBush is the greatest POTUS in US history. I'd call that an irrational opinion, if not blind alligence.

>>>>I consider your comments to be without substance.

Likewise.

I am thinking that the investigation into what "went wrong" by the Bush Administration...

might just produce some really nasty creatures that have been in the LA hidey-hole of government for a very long time.

LOL! I must have hit a nerve.

I don't agree with everything the President does. However, not wishing to give the democrats a wedge issue, I do not post my criticisms on FR. I e-mail the White House or call my senator or my congressman.

You see, I remember Reagan's 11 Commandment, which apparently you don't.

FNC Greta has done a tremendous service in her programs from the Astrodome. Reassuring everyone that the refugees there were being treated extremely well.

All the stations have done everything in their power to get parents and children re-united, as well as adult family members who have been separated.

Other than Whorealdo and Shep Smith, most have done a good job in helping the best way they can.

The creeps back at the station headquarters have been useless but I will not fault those on the ground in NO.

Just because Honore blasted the media doesn't make him right.

You are better than the Chamber of Commerce in selling the Keys...

I think that they are tops on my list of vacation destinations...NOT during Hurricance season, though. LOL

LOL! I have been called so many names by the "perfect conservatives" that I don't really pay any attention.

What I HAVE noticed is that we still don't have one constructive suggestion on what President Bush should do.

Agreed. LOL

Bush43 and Bush41 have taken Clinton into their political family for good reason. You keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Has it worked? Not from looking at Clintons behavior it hasn't.

So you were opposed to all the aid to the tsunami victims, even to countries and areas that are not friendlies?

Is it only Americans that don't deserve our compassion?

The people who refused to leave did for the most part, because they were more afraid of the looters.

Should we punish them?

We have an opportunity to change the culture.

The folks who were lucky enough to be relocated to Texas had quite an eye opening experience.

LOL You give yourself way to much credit for influencing Democrats. When Bush is right, I congratualte him. When he's wrong I criticize him. On spending he is wrong.

Have you seen my little lists of facts?

Fact: Pappa Moon Landrieu was a head of HUD during the Carter administration

70% of the people in NOLA rent their homes

The population of NOLA has one of the highest povery (crime*) level in the US.

Wm Jefferson who is being investigated is a "Slum Lord".

In l998 complaint were made in congress: It seems that some of the homes that had been purchased for under $30,000 had received over $200,000 from repeatedly filing for compensation from flood insurance. (Think that is administered by HUD)....Got no where because of LA politician opposition.

QUESTIONS:
How many properties to the rather large Landrieu family own?

How much of their wealth is derived from renting HUD properties?

How much will "W" ownership idea hurt the "family" "BIG TIME" (No wonder she wants to slap him.)

* One post even showed where they manipulated their population so they won't be compared to NYC, CHI, LA
(# murders 10 X'x more than the others)

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Now, Reagan Man says he can read minds!

He says in your mind GWB is the greatest POTUS in US history! I don't know if you feel that way or not...which is my point. I don't recall you posting that...but RM has read your mind and says that.

Also, I was an actual cheerleader in school...and though I truly rooted for and was a fan of my teams...I still KNEW when NOT to run out of bounds, or kneel, or hit the quarterback after he has already thrown the ball...IOW...

One can be a cheerleader, but also able to see that actual game on the field for what it is...

Right now, RM, you have taken the lib route of name-calling, which doesn't deserve any more reponses, IMHO.
