its no good this was tried before in 1994 as part of the contract with america and as soon as it was announced all the libs started screamiung bloody murder and the republicans stones shrank up to the size of split peas and went up inside them and they ran away crying thier eyes out and never tried it again

Yep, I know the history of the Old Media's historic victory to save NEA funding. 1990-1999 was the 'Last Golden Decade' of Old Media dominance. And it's good to review it on this thread. I believe that in media terms, 1994 was well into the pre-revolution days. Others will, of course, disagree.

But if you talk with people on the street about the horrid art of the NEA, you get immediate outrage. Peoples' voices raise. Their eyes widen. We're not talking about a tough issue for the anti-leftists, here. It's an easy and fast win, with staying power.
