I had a judge tell a whole class of us basically the same thing in a corporate law course I took in college. He said if you ever accidentally run over somebody and they aren't dead, run over them again.
I don't agree with that, but I understand the sentiment.
Well the police officer was telling us that in class because he knew what criminals do once they get out of the hospital( is sue) and the majority of the time the criminal wins..Believe me I would never shot anyone that did not deserve a good shooting..
