Pagan Pride mission statement: "The primary purposes of this corporation shall be the advancement of religion and elimination of prejudice and discrimination based on religious beliefs."
Let's see if the ACLU files a law suit saying that they are promoting religion on public grounds.

Wow, this certainly looks like something for Christians to feel threatened by. < / sarc>
I'm surprised San Diego pagans can't get together a bigger event. The one we have here in Atlanta is generally attended by several hundred people.
And most recently of all, a "Roman Toga Party" was held from which we have received more than two dozen reports of individual acts of perversion SO profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them here.
They should not lump noble Buddhism together with these stupid pagans hedonists....ain't right
Don't know, but my guess is their version is a homemade, self-revealed Buddhism Buddhists of any persuasion would not recognize.
LOL, c post 7.
Toga...toga...toga....toga...toga...toga...toga....
Yep. :-)
Utter tripe. James Hartline is talking out of his backside.
Have been practicing paganism for 5 years or better, have never sacraficed animals or anything to harm someone the worst thing that I have done is wish that someone gets what they put out to others...... But are the Christians really that worried that we have to go back to the burning times again, when in early centuries the Church had made use of the witches, physcic's etc... for their own use........ History does repeat itself......over and over and over...
geesh........
I thgink concerns here by Christians are blown way out of proportion.
Trendy kooks like this will eventually go away.
A far more serious threat to us are atheists like Newdouhg (spelling) and the virulently anti-Judaeo-Christian ACLU.
trendy kooks, pagans have been here centuries before christ and christian..... the sumerians, the druids, celtic pagans, all are the older religions........ Saint Brigit, and a few others were celtics pagan gods and goddess's that the christians adapted to try and convert the celts to christianity. The representation of a rabbit and eggs at Easter is a pagan ideal, the rabbit and eggs a signs of fertility and since Easter is around the time of wild and domestic animals' mating season's they were used to produce a good yeild of livestock and animals for hunting in the fall time.
Sounds like the same folks that bring us Homo-Pride Day.
I think the boyscouts should have the right to assemble ther, and so should this group. Besdies, it's only 100 of them according to the article, so more likely about 25 (Using Million Man March standards).
While I may not agree with their beleifs, they have the right to thier beleifs.
"San Diego for Pagan Pride"
Why does that title remind me of Dan Ackroyd in the movie "Dragnet"?
They are just BEGGING God to zap em... eh?
