NEW ORLEANS (AP) The nearly 200,000 residents returning to some of New Orleans' neighborhoods beginning next week will face military checkpoints, a lack of clean tap water and a dusk-to-dawn curfew that could keep the good times from rolling for a while.

The AP never fails. What Katrina DID is far worse than not being able to party for a while...
The liberal MSMs new motto: NEWS FROM NOTHING
Why is Nagin still around?
So might, say... a Cat 4 hurricane.
Make it an all nighter. Party all night long. Don't go home till the sun comes up.
Did anyone else see Col. Hunt on Fox tonight telling about boatloads of cash taken from the banks and jewels being stolen from the stores? Hadn't heard the fact that millions would be paid by the insurers from the looting that went on wholesale with no police present.
Yep. No candy@ssed policing. Nagin will order bazooka ordinance for jaywalkers in his mudpuddle. Murder, rapes, and beatings will continue as normal.
"that could keep the good times from rolling for a while."
Funny how a curfew can put a dent into doing crack, prostitution, and overall "good times". I am sure the residents of NO are crushed.
Nagin will finish out his term...although alot of those locals who supported the dimwit...are not going to come back...and his political days are numbered. I can't see him ever running for another office.
But to stir this just a tad more...if I was looking for a 4-star replacement...I'd entire General Honore to retire and step back into Louisiana. I realize he probably has better ideas about retirement, and a number of companies would like to see him on their board...but this guy might be the man finally to fix New Orleans. He might clean the city up...fire the police force (if necessary)...and tell locals to get their act straight. And I'd think that local business leaders might like his style...he is a charcter...we can admit that part. But this town needs someone dynamic...and a politican simply can't fill those shoes.
Speaking of Honore...
