I have two expedition water "filters" and a Old Pur06 desalinator with the DOD handle and leg strap.....a Katadyn pocket size filter is in each vehicle kit.......
Nothing quite this big though......Wow !
Pic of my expedition filter....a great chunk of gear to have in the SHTF bag of toy's.

Reverse Osmosis - CoolThe reason the army has it and no one else is that Reverse Osmosis membranes of the size required are very expensive.
