The anti-war mom isn't planning to set foot in Fayetteville - at least that was the word Thursday. But the fact that the peace activists have come from Crawford, Texas, where Sheehan spent last month camped outside President Bush's ranch demanding to speak with him, has fired up people in Fayetteville who say such vigils are demeaning to soldiers.
About eight to 10 activists, mainly veterans and relatives of servicemen, are riding into town on the "Bring Them Home Now" tour. The tour set out on three routes across the country after the Crawford vigil disbanded. Fayetteville is one of dozens of stops on the way to a larger, three-day rally next week in Washington. One caravan - including Sheehan - was in Raleigh on Thursday for several demonstrations. A spokeswoman said Sheehan will travel to Philadelphia this morning instead of joining the group in Fayetteville

What's she afraid of in Fayetteville? Too many military families?
What's she afraid of in Fayetteville?
She's typical of the CUT N RUN libs. You know, when the going gets tough...split.

82nd Airborne!
XVIII Airborne Corps!
7th Special Forces Group!
Pope Air Force Base!
Delta Force!
They're all there? I'm impressed. (And I was just in Fayetteville over Labor Day weekend.)
Freeper Constitution Day sent me a link to an anti-war Fayetteville rally Cindy spoke at on 3-19-05, so she has been here before. I think the reason she isn't coming is Fayetteville is too small for her PR show...protesting here will probably generate little interest from national media, local media love for her only. My husband is active duty, and I told him that Cindy and/or her "peace veterans" will be coming to town, and asked him if the soldiers in his unit have ever discussed her commie pinko a**. He said no, they are too busy getting ready to go overseas again, doing their job, etc.
She chickened out in Maine, too. We had a fairly large counter-protest planned, until she ran away.
Maine Vets for Peace, who was sponsoring her drivel, claimed that the "powers that be" (read as: DU, Code Pink ANSWER, etc.) cancelled her appearance due to "concerns for her safety and security".
Whatever. The libs are the only ones that incite violence at these protests, but they're the first to cry if anyone defends themselves.
Over the past few weeks, word of the Sheehan tour was the topic of heated conversations on right-leaning Web sites and message boards, including that of Free Republic.
Shes still around? I thought the ditch witch melted.
Great graphic!
Know why doctors prefer to work on liberal moonbats?
Fewer parts....... their mouths and as*holes are interchangeable.
She will always exist in the hearts and (what passes for)brains of the moonbats who adore her! She spoke at NC State last evening, I believe.
The protests keep her in the press. It's counterproductive.
Good one. My friend ( a doctor ) likes good doctor jokes. Being a good conservative hell love this one.
Agreed.
Getting "Traitor" tattooed on her forehead.
Whenever I hear her voice on the radio she sounds like an angry spoiled valley girl.
