The MSM could not even report Hurricane Katrina accurately. They are Progressive. Everything they do is tainted with progressive politics. We use to call it 'Liberal Paintism' on the old-school Internet news groups. But the times, they are a changing.

Talabani this week visited Bush in the White House, but I doubt you heard a word he said. In one sense that's good. If he'd said Iraq's liberation was a disaster, you'd have heard all about it.

Too true.

Thanks for posting this. You're so right...his remarks were lost in the post Kristina Bush bashing.

The fact that the media only report what the left wants to hear, and nothing more, will be the downfall of the Democratic party. They are the proverbial frog in water, and the MSM is heating it up. The water will boil, and the frog will die.

"In the name of Iraqi people, I say to you, Mr President, and to the glorious American people, thank you, thank you. Thank you, because you liberated us from the worst kind of dictatorship. Our people suffered too much . . .

"Thank you, and thanks to the United States, there are now 50 million Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq liberated by your courageous leadership and decision to liberate us, Mr President.

"We agree with Mr President Bush that democracy is the solution to the problems of the Middle East. Mr President, you are a visionary, great statesman. We salute you."

The truth is out there!

But he instead turned to Bush and said: "In the name of Iraqi people, I say to you, Mr President, and to the glorious American people, thank you, thank you. Thank you, because you liberated us from the worst kind of dictatorship. Our people suffered too much . . .

The only thing I saw was Talabani saying in two years they would only need a few bases full of Americans and Rumsfeld looking uncomfortable. This president. So right in some ways, so wrong in others.

But one thing I will always like about him, one thing that got him the vote of even some democrats that disagreed with everything he stands for. He may be wrong but he's never uncertain. That's the mark of a TEXAN!
