We need the port. But will we rebuild a slum for the welfare class as well?

No. We'll give them vouchers to move to your bedroom community in Missouri.

Feel better now?

We better not. Alot of that slum life should be cleaned up once the investigations are over.

Thank the Plantation Princesses for that mess!

Government money should be spent only on infrastructure above surge level, but who's to say the Mississippi levee itself wouldn't be breached someday and wash everything away. The whole thing seems a great risk. Maybe now's the time to bite the bullet, spend the taxpayer money upstream at Baton Rouge, abandon NOLA and let the river find it's natural course.

Radical idea, Remove the levies and establish the port 100 miles north.

You may want to speak to President Bush, I understand he will be holding a lottery for the poor to win Free Land in the New Orleans area and will be using your tax dollars to promote minority owned business in the area.

Each is a great move and will help New Orleans once again become a great city.

"We need the port."

Rebuild it on higher ground. Raise it with shale from the shale oil deposits in the Colorado/Wyoming/Utah region.
