Both Napoleon and the British knew how important was the city of New Orleans. It thought it was fitting that Bush stood before the statute of General Jackson. I thought to myself: If HE had been in charge of the Guard at the Conveention Center, he would have have taken care of the thugs in short order. Aftter Kent State, the Guard is afraid of its shadow when confronted with civilian rioters. I read this morning that Honore said they were not trained to deal with riots. Why the heck NOT? What IS the Guard for?

That is sad.

I'm sure once all the investigations are complete and heads are rolling....The training will be back up to mark.

Thanks for the insight.
