An interesting thread by striking Northwest Airline mechanics at www.usaviation.com. The source URL takes you to the specific thread
Evidently, they all think that this is the way to strike:
They are all for it, including this pleasant little ditty:

The AMFA STRIKERS are being way too nice in my opinion. If this was the 1930's, that SCAB's house would have been torched!

TWU:THE UNION THAT INVENTED CONCESSIONS! Why RIDE the BUS? When you can FLY with AMFA
Its OK to intimidate, and threaten to kill, but if Management looks the wrong way at these goons, the lawsuits fly.
Could you ping the aviation list?
Thanks
Maggots. I despise unions. And I belonged to one (involuntarily) for 8 years.
Well, I've just flown my final Northwest flight, until and unless they squash this union deadder than PATCO.
There's a really serious problem for both Northwest Air and the unions if this kind of statement is typical of the true feelings of people inside that corporate shell ~ namely that the public simply will not fly on an airline where any of its employees may be supposed to be in favor of violence.
Don't worry. They're working on it. Management is not fond of any of this stuff, and either am I. I'm willing to fly NW just to spite these idiots.
Kramer says sell all airline stock.
No, not THAT Kramer.
Absolutely it is their opinion. Their opinion is that, not only is picketing a private citizen on their private property is OK, but that burning down their house is OK as well.
I disagree with that opinion. That is my opinion. I respect your opinion.
Owning airline stock was stupid when I started working at the airlines.
Its too volitile, subject to the whims of gas prices. The best stocks are the boring ones, aggregates, cement, flooring, utilities, banks...
When a dozen union goons show up at your home, it's as explicit a threat as leaving a burning cross.
30 years ago I worked for Pan Am. Their IT dept (but not the programmers) were unionized by the Teamsters Union. It was impossible to get anything done. I had to quit after a few weeks
I hope all these union jack*sses wind up on the midnight shift scrubbing toilets in gas stations. It's more than they deserve.
Well, part of the union consists of aircraft cleaners, a real high tech job, they vacuum the carpets and put stuff in the seatbacks for $18 an hour. Nearly 40K a year to do what a hotel maid does for minimum wage.
Casablanca allusions aside, think an armed citizen "scab" trumps a bunch of union thugs.
Hey Central Scurtinizer, is that Joe's Garage in the picture?
No, but its on my page....:)
Hmmmm... Much in common with members of DU.
Whew, glad I fly ATA now.
