LOL

yeah we should let one of our biggest ports lay in ruin.

GEE That will definitely help EVERYONE out. I am sure it fits into your Buchananite isolationist economic models too. Too bad that more will NEVER get anywhere with that.

Imagine what the world would look like if these fools had their way!

And they wonder why they can't get elected to dog catcher!

Here in Iowa and the rest of the cornbelt, NO is the primary port for moving their crop to the rest of the world. As long as the NO area is down, agriculture is threatened.

In addition, over one-quarter of the oil brought into this country comes through NOLA. That doesn't even include the oil production and refining capacity in the region.

BTW, we cannot entrust this effort to the corrupt leadership of NO and LA.

I hate Pat Buchanan, don't call me a Buchanite unless you want to be called a Clintonite.

The port is operational. It doesn't take $200,000,000,000 to fix it or the city for that matter.

I'm a free trader, not an isolationist.

I'm a fiscal conservative, for cutting taxes and restraining spending. Pres. Bush is not doing the latter.
