You stop that racist crap right now.
Howlin, you know me. Not a racist bone in my body.
No taxpayer money to Africans. You know, the ones in Africa. "W" is giving 15 BILLION to? Why when our own folks need the $$$ here?

I did a job yesterday for a family that rode it out and then came to Missouri after. They have been here a week. I couldn't get them out of bed before 10:30 a.m. Someone else was paying me to go help them. I wasn't very sympathetic because they showed so little respect for those giving them help. So, was your helping them about you, or about them?

I agree. I liked the emphasis on the private sector.

The 'can do' attitude of Galveston Texas after the 1900 Hurricane which devastated the Island and killed some 6,000 or more people... You rebuild but build higher and better.... It can be done.

grade raising after the 1900 hurricane. Residents endured
years of pumps, sludge, canals, stench and miles of catwalks
during the project. Photo courtesy of Rosenberg Library.

I thought it was an excellent speech. Now Fox's panel is going to dump on it.
I liked the part where he said he was responsible for the problem, and also for the solution.Kondrake says it was "adequate. Boston Globe gal says that he has yet to paint over those people left on the overpass, although she gives him credit for some other portions of the speech. Krauthammer finds it remarkably ambitious.
