I've a question I hope you, or another of the Polish Freepers, can answer.
Ronald Reagan was given a sword during a ceremony in Poland. I am pretty sure this took place after his second term had expired.
The significance of this sword was quite impressive, and the Poles took great pride in presenting it to him. President Reagan was of course humbled, yet deeply honored, at Poland's recognition of his fight against the evil that was the USSR.
Do you recall this? And if so, can you direct me to any articles on the ceremony?
