Actually, since the KKK appropriated the Confederate flag as its symbol, it does have racist linkages.

It's a classical problem. Not all Confederate-flag wearing Southerners are racists, but it sure seems that all racists wear the Confederate flag.

It kinda sucks for decent Southerners who see the flag as representative of regional pride, and of State's Rights, but the simple fact of the matter is that racists have identified with the Confederate cause since the Civil War.

So why not use the original Confederate flag, the Stars and Bars with the blue cannon if you want to show that Southern Pride branches out to everybody, not just white people? It'll show a lesson to the Ku Klux Klams that Southernness will not be misappropriated by lunatics.

So, if another racist group use the American flag as it's symbol does THAT then become a racist flag????

Is white bed linen a racist symbol if is on your bed?

Then I guess "Y'all" will have to be a bit more millitant when liberals "appropriate" and twist the language for their own purposes....

No comment on what happens when "Bevis" meets "LL Dumb-J"

I guess what I am trying to say that it was never meant as a racist symbol. That fact that a racist group utilizes it as their symbol still, IMHO, doesn't make it a racist symbol because it was never meant to be in the first place. Does that make sense?

Add Old Glory and Christian flag to you list of Klan approved, now racist symbols. Even the resident South haters of FR won't side with you on this one jude.
