This is an excellent idea. For many years the FBI did the same thing to Communist party cells, the German-American Bund, and KKK chapters. The Islamofascists in one day killed more Americans on our own soil than the Communists and KKK combined did. There's really no other way to determine which mosques are clean and which are hotbeds of anti-American subversion. Indeed, since most are subsidized by the Saudi Wahabists, the chances are that the majority spawn and sponsor terrorism. It's high time we started to regard much of Islam as a virulent, totalitarian political ideology, every bit as virulent as Communism and Nazism, that masks itself as a religion.

Excellent idea. I hope that our good Republican governor will run for President in 2008.

Meanwhile a colossal new $20 million Mosque is slated for Boston. This odious place got a sweetheart deal on the land from the City of Boston.

"Governor Mitt Romney raised the prospect of wiretapping mosques and conducting surveillance of foreign students"
Great idea. Atty. Gen. Alberto, are you listening? Is this too politically insensitive for you?

Sounds good to me. Of course, the AC Hell-U won't tolerate such an action. After all, we might catch terrorists that way.

This should go in the same bin as making sure all manholes have covers on them, making sure that green light in one direction always meas red light in the other and vice versa, and mandatory barriers at rail crossings and draw bridges.

Because pretty much all terrorist threats in America have recently come from Moon god worshipers, I do agree that there should be listening devices directed toward their Mosques.
I don't know about bugging their places, unless there is a proven known cell of radicals that would warrant it.
