"Do you happen to have a Mountain Dew?"
"Urine luck."
To: PBRSTREETGANG
That's quite funny. Wish I could come up with stuff like that this early in the morning...

Oh contrair... this loser will end up in federal prison. Tampering with products is a felony ( remember tylenol?) The feds will come down on this guy hard to make an example out of him.
To: Caipirabob
After the Tylenol murder ,/I>youre showing your age - ask some twenty or thirty something if they remember that LOL

I took the bate on another thread about our childhood icons dying off. I said something to the effect that "Jeanie, Mary-Anne AND Ginger were ALL HOT" when I was a kid. Yes, "Matt Mason" and "Hot Wheels" were the big thing when I was a kid. Heck, it's practically "The Golden Days" compared to what kids have to deal with now.LOL!

Why does this remind me of a scene from Dumb and Dumber where the motorcycle cop pulls over Lloyd and Harry?
Motorcycle Cop: "You fellas been doin' a bit of boozin' have ya...suckin' back on Grandpa's old cough medicine?"

If that happenned to me, I'd be waiting for that wise citizen after work with my baseball bat in hand. When he returned to work the next day, he'd look like a badly bruised dreamsicle.

Exactly. Publix is making certain this isn't a Wendy's style 'finger in the chili' fraud.
I'm glad that Wendy's followed through and cleared their name, instead of doing what most lawyers would advise: settle and attach a gag order.
If the claim against Publix is real, the man who drank the soda will have the legal muscle to crush this small chain. A good reason for them to not claim responsibility until all the facts are known.

When Dew came out in the 60s the bottles used to have the hillbilly on it with an outhouse in the background and another hillbilly running for it. The bottles had a number of different versions of "Bottled by..." on them. "Bottled by Clem", "Bottled by Jim", etc. All a joke back then and it went along with the color of the soda.

...legal muscle to crush this small chain????Look up who you are talking about. It's been tried before.
Small is not a adjective I would use in the same sentence as Publix.
