Eighty percent of al Qaeda's network in northern Iraq "has been devastated" since January due to the capture or killing of key leaders and the outrage of Iraqi citizens, a U.S. troop commander told Pentagon reporters today. Army Col. Robert B. Brown, commander of the 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division's Stryker Brigade Combat Team, reported from Mosul, Iraq,Riveting accounts of the success of the Stryker Brigade can be read on Michael Yon's website. I believe one was posted here entitled "Jungle Law". They are seriously kicking ass. Hats off to all our heroes throughout the area and especially to the Iraqis who will win this for themselves as they feed the scum to us and their own soldiers.

FYI
If you can get it there is a very good article in this months Atlantic Monthly on US Special Forces working around the world.
"Imperial Grunts: The American Military on the Ground by Robert D. Kaplan "
It's in conjunction with a new book by Robert D. Kaplan.
I've posted a review of the book

Watched O'Reilly last night , saw his interview with Condi Rice.
He is still reading and believing the MSM, focusing in on the latest terror extravaganza and asking her when we are gonna get out of there,....

a Chinese-made spy plane used to track army movementsThe the Chinese sell or give this to them? I guess the other -unlikely- option is that they stole it from the Chinese and guessed at how to operate it.

Bill has been doing the best reporting of the recent successes in Iraq. His site should be a daily stop for anyone interested in what is happening over there.

I agree...just like the Palestinians had to have eventually recruit young stupid bombers, women as bombers, mentally retarded children as bombers....so goes A.Q.
Notice they NEVER do the suicide bombing themselves.
