Now Right Demanding Dem Memos

Conservative strategists are drafting a letter to Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee demanding the release of hundreds of internal memos detailing contacts between the lawmakers and liberal interest groups opposing John Roberts’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

By planning to press Democrats on the sensitive subject, conservatives seem to be pulling a page from the Democrats’ own political playbook. In the weeks leading up to the confirmation hearings, Senate Democrats have repeatedly called on the White House to give them memos Roberts penned while he was deputy solicitor general in President George H.W. Bush’s administration.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the ranking member on the Judiciary Committee, raised the issue again yesterday by releasing a letter dated Sept. 9 from William Moschella, the assistant attorney general. In the letter, Moschella declined to disclose legal memos from Roberts’s tenure in the Office of the Solicitor General.

“It is regrettable that the Bush administration persists in keeping this information from the Senate,” Leahy said. “These documents, from the period of Judge Roberts’s most substantive work experience in the executive branch, would help illuminate his views and earlier decisions on a wide range of key issues that are of vital importance to the American people and to the Senate.”

In their letter, conservatives quote Leahy’s argument that the Senate should have access to the withheld documents.

We all know that Democrats, in the interest of furthering their agenda, will stoop to anything. It matters not how dirty, dishonest, or illegal they will try it at least once.

Biden has turned into a joke. After his infamous advice to Ginsburg to keep her mouth shut, his insistence in the Robert's hearings can only be described as "the ultimate stupidity"!

Then I'll think they've finally starting standing up to the bullies. Until then it's just murmuring!

What's the over-under on the GOP folding like a pair of deuces again?

Nobody knows this but the small minority like us that choose to get our head out of the sand and pay attention. The problem we have in this country is we have a MSM that works for the Dem party and 3/4 of the people who are too lazy to look for the truth and the facts.

" Thank God the Republicans are finally taking the PR offensive on this " ...................

I just hope the Republicans keep the PR offensive battle with the Able Danger scandal.
After watching the fiascos of the Democrats this passed year and the Roberts confirmation hearings, it still seems that the Democrats are in charge of things in Washington, but they are NOT , I just wish the Republicans would put the Democrats back into their place and show them who is boss and in charge in Washington these days.

" John Roberts has proved to the Senators that his whole life has been about consistency " ................

When you build you life , business, and dwelling on a " GOOD FOUNDATION " with GOD in your life, you won't have to worry that it will crumble down one day.
If anything in these hearings will show ? is that the Democrats have built their foundations in sinking sand, lies, deceit, dishonesty, Godlessness, failed liberal ideology and their foundations are crumbling down.
The liberal / Democrat / MSM movement and foundations are built out of a house of card built on sinking sand in a Cat - 5 hurricane.

Even if the Pubs follow through on requesting these memos the media will only call them mean-spirited and at best ignore them and at worst attack them, either way the only real coverage will be here.

" I'm tired of it all and feel I'm losing the battle. I will fight on though and continue to get the real truth out there when I can. " ..............
If we don't ? who will ?

Just like the Minute Men of the American Revelation during the American Revelation War, we are the true patriots who must get the truth out, press on in the face of adversity to preserve this God given and Bless country that GOD has put in our guardianship to protect and preserve.

If you need encouragement, just read some historical reading on the hardships that George Washington and his troops had to endure.

We could get our inspiration from those patriots of old and George Washington, and we must imagine that they are looking at us ( you and me ) to preserve and protect what they entrusted to us ( the USA ) and we should never let them down.

quote ==

The Collusion Memos
These memos repeatedly make clear that a small collection of extreme left groups -- abortion groups, race organizations, labor unions and leftist groups specifically focused on judges -- are driving the Democrats' agenda and decisions. These groups tell Senate Democrats whom to attack and vote down, when to hold hearings on which nominee, how many hearings to hold and rules ofr allowing floor votes. The memos even indicate that the groups persuaded Democrats to delay nominations in order to affect pending cases.
