NEW YORK In what seems to be destined to become one of the most yacked about photos of the month, if not year, a Reuters photographer today seems to have captured President George W. Bush scribbling a note to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice suggesting that he needed to take a "bathroom break" during a session at the United Nations.

I think the cameraman just got a new zoom lens and he is showing off... :D
Isn't it odd that Reuters can publish Bush's note, but they can't publish that Arafat had aids?
did not see the picture either. but I did like the one with the texas game wardens stoping a mail truck with about 7 evacuee's at the bottom of the page.
Exactly.
Possibly. ...and good eye.
But even if it's legit why in the world would anyone care about the President having to go to the bathroom? Anyone who does care is certifiably insane, frankly.
OMG! He goes to the bathroom!
"Pardon me while I whip this out"
Fingers faster than the mind. You can guess what I mean, where's that dictionary.
Mocking a woman for having to use the restroom and then twisting it to look like it's Bush is bizarre.
This is news? This must be the lull period between the September so-called Bush scandal and the upcoming October so-called Bush scandal.
I think I really need to take a bathroom break...on the head of Reuters (so to speak).
1) The left wing will complain that this is disrespectful and use it to attack Bush.
2)It won't work and will make Bush seem like a more normal person thus causing a slight backlash.
3) The left will claim this was all a part of a plot by Karl Rove to distract them from whateverGate they are into.
4) This will be forgotten in 3 weeks.
The note looks fake to me. Looks like a proportional font, Times New Roman.
I can see it now: Bush Wastes Water While NO Flooded!
No, the bathroom break thing was written by someone else, probably as a joke, as in, I need to throw up now. President Bush was responding on the bottom.
He is ... noticed this awhile back at some WH signing ceremony. Also thought at the time ... OK that explains a great deal.
The note looks "Photoshopped." There is too much going on around the words. Too much gray. At least the top of the note looks doctored, the bottom does not.
If the note is for real: Who the heck cares if the President needs a break? Can't they leave the poor guy alone? This much of a close-up of what the President is writing should be against the law anyway. He could be writing classified info & the MSM A**** do not need to know...
This is after all, what passes for journalism these days. The guy who took it will win a Pulitzer. The media just keeps covering itself with glory.
It makes me think George is a tough cookie. Just entering the UN building would give me immediate dysentery
