Help for the famillies.

I hope that it is allright to use this forum for the following request. I have heard from the families of the other fallen warriors that were on the plane with my son (Capt.Derek Argel) on Memorial Day. They want to make sure their loved one's names are not on the crosses at any Arlington West displays. I can't physically drive to these locations due to my health at this time. Would it be possible for anyone that lives near one of these locations to look for the following names? Major Brian Downs, Captain Derek Argel, Captain Jeremy Freques, and Staff Sgt. Casey Crate. If a digital photo were taken of these crosses at any location, we would be able to use them for another article to go out on the AP. God Bless any and all that can help us. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I did not know your son, but I am familiar with the circumstances of his loss. It was a very great tragedy for the United States, and I'm confident that these multiple-volunteer airmen would think the best memorial we could give them would be, to continue and complete their mission.

I owe my own life to airmen like your son from Air Force Special Operations Forces and Special Tactics. There are many more like me.

I'll say a prayer for the five fallen Americans and for the Iraqi officer that was with them.

This thread was just posted on the DC Chapter thread about Walter Reed. Most of us will be there the 23rd thru the 26th. A few of us will also be organizing things the week before. I am making a copy of the names and will carry it with me.

Debbie, they're in Philly now until Sunday. I'm planning to go freep them, but I haven't made my final plans as to date and location. I just got their itinerary in the last couple days. I don't know if they're putting up their cross display, but if I see it, I will look for those names and take photos if possible. My camera is old, with low resolution, but I'll do my best.

Sounds like 'Arlington West' is mobile...I know they had the crosses displayed in Crawford last month.

That's my impression too. I'm hoping somebody will tell me where and when they will be displayed in Philly.
