My pretty signs will get wet if it rains!

Layer Saran wrap starting at the bottom and over lap like roofing shingles.

As good as the DC chapter is you are wimps a little rain never hurt anyone.

Two years ago in Costa Mesa the YR held a rally and our Brea group folded into them for that event. We had about 150 people there where I learned about FR.

It was a downpour it rained and rained all day long. We averaged about 75, and they were republicans, throughout the rally, about 2”

I tried to find my post including pic, but for some reason not in archives.

Once again you guys (no gender) are wimps. LOL

Thanks for the bumping today Aquakat!

I'm up ... have to finish coloring, so I'll bump it along for awhile.

BillF - just an FYI...it is 138 miles from point A to B if I take the shorter, but longer time, route. It is 144 or 6 or 8 miles, (I can't remember right now) if I take the loop around Richmond. It is faster however.

Thems fighting words. As a DC FReeper, I've FReeped through rain, snow, sleet, high winds, blazing sun and heat, and freezing cold (high temp was 17 to 19 degrees one day with blowing wind for a below 0 degree wind chill).

We're gone toe to toe with some of the toughest, scumiest (is that a word?), law-ignoring goons of the left. We dodged the bullet when undercover cops saved 13 of us from dozens of anarchists within several hundred of them, the dozens having planned to bust our skills open.

And you would dare to call us whimps. I challenge you to a duel. Rubber bands at 20 paces.

You guys..... flipping rubber bands at each other.

When I come next Firday I would much rather see a spitball duel to the death.

hehehe

DC's gun control is so tight that I think spitballs may be prohibited. When spitballs are outlawed, only outlaws will have spitballs.

Then again, maybe the below can't be brought into DC.

Incidentally, I'll choose the green rubber band and let the varmint :) have the yellow rubber band.

That doesn't look like the kind of rubber band dueling equipment my brothers used to have (their finger).

You DCers sure are series about your dueling.

What am I getting myself into?

Hurried disclaimer: I'm a conservative, not a Pubbie! :-)

No. And 75 years old to boot! They say you shrink with age.

For those out there wondering if this stuff really makes any difference (stolen from another thread):

I WAS HUGGED BY A SOLDIER TONIGHT!!!
I went to the local military base to discuss flyers for these FReeps. I need to go back in the morning.

I then went to a local restaurant where I usually see soldiers. I pulled in and a car with 3 soldiers pulled in right next to me. After we were all seated I approached their table to thank them for their service. I was invited to sit down, at which time I pulled out my fryers and explained what we were doing. I also told them about WRAMC. As I discussed our wounded warriors, I teared up and the soldier I was seated next to threw his arms around me and gave me a hug. They started thanking me, but I said no, we do what we do to thank and support them.

The "hugger" said how much he appreciated what we are all doing ... his wife is in Iraq right now! One of the other soldiers has already been to Iraq and has volunteered and is waiting to go back. They were very excited about all the support rallies I told them about across the country.

I asked if they would have any use for the flyers. "Hugger" said yeah, I'll hang it up in the barracks. The "female" said put one in the bathroom, too! They ended up taking 3 of each of the 3 flyers I had.

Then I gave 1 each to the waitress and asked if they ever hung anything up around there. She took them to their manager who apparently read them over carefully and said they would like to put them up!

This is my "Update Bump" for the night. Back to coloring!

Hey, Coop, you think duct tape would work to keep my signs from getting wet? I was thinking of fashioning a rainhat out of duct tape. But the last time I did that I lost almost every hair on my head. Took awhile for the scabs to heal.
