She is pissed that the death toll is way too low, not what the Dems and MSM were anticipating. They are about 9,800 too short.

Is this the same stupid woman who couldn't beat the bureaucracy to sanction using buses to move people out of N.O. prior to Katrina?

She killed them, the least she can do is bury them.

I wonder if she hired the guy out of Atlanta who buried all those bodies he was supposed to cremate in his back yard? They seem like soulmates.

I guess she's been reading the Freeper posts which suggested this very thing.

She's also on the Democrat game plan to obfuscate their culpability by endlessly harping aboput te FedGov's "slow response" -- a "Big Lie" that probably has Goebbels smiling from his bunk in Hell.

Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco has accused the federal government of moving too slowly to recover the bodies of hurricane victims, saying her state would hire a private company to do the work.

NOW she actually does something? It's a little late, isn't it?

This woman will not see reelection. She ran for her own life and left everyone else to swim. People won't forget that.

I know people who are paid a good living by our government to play computer solitaire all day.

The real reform in government is decentralization - a bureaucracy large enough can become like a force of nature, preventing action - or change - through sheer inertia.

Seems to me that I remember reading an article in the past few days where a private mortuary company was complaining that the Feds were going to recover the bodies, and that the private company had a contract to do so.

Funny thing though about Blanco saying they're hiring a contractor. I found this:

http://www.kvue.com/news/state/stories/090905kvuebodies-cb.3f51874c.html

from September 9, 2005, that says that the Feds have already hired a contractor to do or coordinate the recovery.

She is hiring Kenyon, some contractor which apparently offers bloated-body-removal services. Maybe this is not too unusual in New Orleans.

It reminds me of a trip to Boston Mass when I was searching through the local yellow pages and came upon a company which specializes in removing blood stains and unpleasant smells from carpeting, 'available 24/7'.

I guess you just have to cater to the local market and provide what society needs.
