Kay Daly, President of the Coalition for a Fair Judiciary, said, “Today, while questioning Judge John Roberts, a sitting federal appeals court judge, Senator Biden tossed civility aside and embraced sarcasm and derision.”
Specter had to warn Biden three separate times to allow Roberts to answer his questions because Biden was rudely cutting him off.
At one point, Biden, not so tactfully, referenced Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s answers during her confirmation hearings and said, "She thinks your old boss was dead wrong. She said so, and she said the majority was dead right."
Biden also accused Roberts of filibustering. Roberts joked that filibustering was a “bad word” to which Biden replied “That's if we do it to you. Go ahead. Go ahead and continue not to answer.”

By "old Boss" was he referring to Chief Justice Renquist? If so, i'm not sure it was appropriate to use the words 'dead' wrong seeing as how the man just died.

Go ahead and continue not to answer.” How the heck could Roberts filibuster????? Joe is showing his ignorance once again. His strategy must have been to try to goad Roberts inot some kind of reaction or sound bite that could be used to justify denying him the position. Hang in there JR - you only have to suffer these fools for a couple of days.
